Licensing agreement for Baulcombe patent

Plant Bioscience Limited (PBL) has entered into a licensing agreement with Alnylam Pharmaceuticals to advance the human therapeutics field. Under the agreement, PBL - the UK technology management company part owned by the BBSRC - has granted Alnylam a world-wide, nonexclusive license to the Baulcombe patent to enable development of RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics.
