In early 2002 Douglas Gjerde and Chris Hanna,founders of PhyYNexus,identified what they felt was a technology gap in the research market for protein purification.At that time,Chris Hanna had been working at HTS Biosystems using their novel high throughput SPR system to measure the kinetics of various protein interactions.
