Calibration is a vital part of any measurement process. Consequently, it is important that end-users can be confident in any calibration work undertaken by other organisations on their behalf. In order for this to happen, such users need to be able to rely on the fact that the measurements taken and tests performed will be able to give reliable, accurate and appropriate results.
