￡40 million for a biomedical engineering centre

Imperial College London has received ￡40 million from Michael Uren and his foundation to build a biomedical engineering centre. The Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub - named after its philanthropist - will house biomedical sciences and engineering initiatives and accommodate research into new and affordable medical technology and treatment of a diverse range of medical conditions.
