Nomination for Trimega's alcohol abuse testing

Trimega Laboratories have been shortlisted for an Orange Innovation Award for commercialising the technological breakthrough ,of a dual test to analyse hair samples for alcohol abuse by parents involved in child custody court cases. The dual test, developed by, the substance abuse testing company, can provide a picture of consumption during the previous six months with very high accuracy — rates of over 94%, with less than 1% risk of a false positive and 5.75% risk of a false negative. In contrast, traditional testing of blood and urine can only cover, the previous three daysand four to six weeks respectively.
