Post-mortem revolution

Post-mortems can be unpopular with the general public, some faith groups even forbid the investigation but a new nonsurgical technique could revolutionise the way autopsies are conducted. Forensic pathologists and radiologists from the University of Leicester - in collaboration with the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust - have developed a novel technique which uses catheterisation, contrast and imaging techniques to determine the cause of death non-invasively.
