People leaving a house they've sold will often take something with them as a keepsake - a cutting or two from their favourite plant, say. Anne Bassett took the whole garden, more or less, much of which she transported by hand in a squeaky old wheelbarrow. Fortunately her new home was just a few doors away, up the same leafy street in a Blenheim neighbourhood where she had lived for several years after moving from Wellington.
