What to salvage from an earthquake-ravaged home? In Lynne Harrison's case it was her treasured New Zealand contemporary art collection... and her woollen Girl Guide blanketwith stitched badges, each redolent of a childhood adventure.The Canterbury earthquakes did shift the foundations of her world. Home had been an inner-city Christchurch apartment, one of 105 in a complex demolished after the February quake. That left her homeless but with an opportunity to find somewhere differentto live. "I wondered what it would be like to live somewhere else entirely. Curiosity got the better of me."Once upon a time, a Girl Guide jamboree had been held in Dunedin. "I certainly didn't know Dunedin well but it had left a positive impression," says Lynne, a family lawyer.
