At the top of the drive at the Giant's House there's a party going on. It's a wild one all right - the party-goers are twice life-size and made of broken china and concrete. The yellow ballerina table the figures are gathered around may once have beenAunty Mabel's best tea service while the revellers themselves are made from bowls and gravy boats picked up at junk shops. Empty mosaic seats glisten in the sunlight, inviting visitors to join the fun. Akaroa artist Josie Martin fits right into the party atmosphere. She is resplendent in a soft yellow tutu, her hair a vivid blue.
