Free as the air: Perfectly poised above the Whanganui River, with city and water views

Much of Juliette Handley's year is spent zigzagging through the air on flights to Italy and Australia. So perhaps it's fitting that her home on a hillside high above the Whanganui River has the ability to make its occupants feel airborne. "It's like living in a picture postcard. We look down onto the old historic quarter of the city and across to the sea and up to Mount Taranaki. The shadows on the river are beautiful and the tides are fascinating."
