Supporting Local Agriculture Farmers Markets and Community-Supported Agriculture and Gardens

American consumers' yearning to learn about how and where their food is produced has meant that many are busily exploring farmers markets, community-supported agriculture, school- and community-based gardening, and collaborative programs that provide access to fresh produce; fostering the development of consumer-farmer relationships; and telling people about the many benefits of local agriculture. This article highlights online resources that describe a few of these programs and organizations.
