This work has been done through the European CleanGlass project in which Gaz de France was a partner. It was focused on the reduction of NO_x emission in glass furnaces. One of the main goals of this project was to improve knowledge on glassworks burners and their flame (currently "Double-Impulse Gas" injectors for furnaces running on natural gas) and to propose a "Low NO_x" burner.
