Researchers in the United States evaluated the independent association between alcohol consumption and risk of developing psoriasis to determine whether this risk was associated with different types of alcoholic drinks. They used data from the Nurses' Health Study II, which involved 82,869 women aged 27-44 at baseline in 1991.
