Fatigue in MS patients

A CPD article improved Craig Hopkins' knowledge of the benefits of non-pharmacological therapies such as yoga. As a newly appointed clinical nurse specialist in multiple sclerosis (MS), I found this article of particular interest. MS is a highly complex central nervous system disease, usually diagnosed in young adults. For many patients, it results in reduced quality of life. The fatigue that is experienced by many people with the illness can range from mild to debilitating. It is probably the most difficult symptom to explain and a challenge to evaluate objectively, yet it is wholly tangible to patients.
