I hate a serious complication after a nice coronary intervention almost as much as I dislike any complication that occurs during a coronary intervention. It is funny how some things suddenly seem relevant, when a month ago they might not have been so interesting. Less than 2 weeks ago, after over 25 years of interventional practice, and 6 hr after a seemingly quick and clean primary intervention in a 49 year old man with a myocardial infarction, my patient dropped his blood pressure and developed an enlarging mass in his lower abdomen
