In the current paper, we estimate the rate of pointwise convergence of the Chlodowsky-type Bernstein operators Cn(J, x) for functions defined on the interval [0, bn], for bn -> oo as n-± oo, which are of bounded variation on [0,oo) To prove our main result, we have used some methods and techniques from probability theory.
