LAMBDA(1405) IN THE BOUND-STATE SOLITON MODEL

The strong and electromagnetic properties of the Lambda(1405) hyperon are studied in the framework of the bound-state soliton model. We explicitly evaluate the strong coupling constant gn NK, the Lambda* magnetic moment, mean square radii and radiative decay amplitudes. The results are shown to be in general agreement with available empirical data. On the other hand, the Lambda*pi Sigma coupling vanishes within the quadratic approximation in the mesonic fluctuations considered in this work.
