Food and nutrition issues for the future

While food is essential, to life, issues that effect food and nutrition are set in the context of the time. For today's populations, this context appears related to ubiquitous over-consumption leading to human obesity, global warming and economic instability. These complex problems mean that food and nutrition issues of the time require a great deal of knowledge integration from a range of disciplines. The food and nutrition issues of the future will evolve from decisions, actions and resolutions that are achievable today.
