摘要

The first issue of the journal for 2010 is sensitive to the context in which we practice. In the Editorial on food and nutrition issues for the future, I have reflected on the issue of overconsumption leading'to the significant global problems of obesity, global warming and economic instability. Putting food and nutrition in this context exposes the increasingly complex environment in. which practitioners will work in the future. A broad knowledge base and collaborative efforts are called for.
