摘要

Dimensionless single-particle reduced widths theta(sp)(2) are calculated for target masses of A = 12-50 by comparing proton partial widths obtained from optical-model computations and from R-matrix expressions. The systematic dependence of theta(sp)(2) to variations in bombarding energy E, AI charge Z, interaction radius a(c), radial (n) and orbital angular momentum (l) quantum numbers is investigated. It is found that theta(sp)(2) is sensitive to variations in A, E, a(c), n and l, but is almost independent of Z. The numerical results of the present work can be applied to improved estimates of proton partial widths. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V. [References: 21]
