Harmonic polynomials and generalization of Ostrowski inequality with applications in numerical integration

We provide a generalization of results given by Pearce and Pecaric in [7] related to the Ostrowski integral inequality. Applying our results in the Newton-Cotes integration formulae we obtain new error estimates of those formulae. [References: 11]
