The energy industry in the United States has experienced a combination of growth and change over the last few years. In just a short period of time, we've seen a decline in domestic coal consumption and its rise as an export product; the exponential expansion of domestic natural gas resources; and staggering innovations in solar and wind power, as well as in other clean energy technologies, including electric vehicles. These developments are, hopefully, all moving us toward a cleaner and a more sustainable future in terms of energy generation.
