This chapter by Craig Mathews provides photos and brief descriptions of the major plant diseases. It is designed as an aid to diagnosis and does not pretend to be the authoritative text on the subject. There is no effective agrichemical treatment forsome of the diseases listed and depicted. For many others, the treatments are limited in number and sometimes challenged by the development of resistance in disease organisms.
