A new waste heat operated absorption refrigerator A new absorption refrigerator operated with waste heat from a cogeneration system is introduced. With the multi-effect absorption refrigeration system exhaust gas energy and heat energy of the engine cooling water are used for a cooling process. By the combination of several effects, two-stage generation with the exhaust gas and single stage with the engine cooling water; heating indices between 0,9 and 1,0 are achieved.
