Hidden away in a quiet side street in the small CNI town of Ngongotaha near Rotorua is a quiet -- but big -- achiever in harvest management. Professional Harvesting Systems (PHS) manages 32 crews from Taupo to Whangarei, with an annual cut of over three million cubic metres. PHS was established in 1998 by Three experienced logging business owners who saw the need for a more collective, stable, in-for-the-long-haul approach to the harvesting industry. Neville Stanaway, Neil Clapperton and Phil Jolleybring together a unique set of harvesting and business management skills as the three founding directors of PHS.
