This is an excellent case series documenting benchmark outcomes of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) involving the conus medullaris region, using commonly available multimodality treatment approaches (mostly embolization and surgery). The authors point out that such cases were often considered along with other lesion types based on more conventional classifications of spinal AVMs.
