When Dickson Chai, of Coquitlam, British Columbia approached the team at Gartunes Sound & Ceilular with his 2003 Lexus IS300, he had one goal in mind; to build an award-winning show car. Thus began the transformation of the Lexus into a replica of its overseas counterpart, Toyota's exclusive TRD Altezza. In order to assume the new identity, the Lexus has undergone extensive performance upgrades and cosmetic changes. What sets this Altezza apart from its relatively tame counterpart is the astounding multimedia system featuring a wealth of top of the line audio/video equipment installed with such precision and attention to detail that it increases the allure of the vehicle tenfold. Over the course of five months, Tysen Bjorn and his team of Cartunes installers (Chad Oakland, Rob Tennant, and Dean Duncan) devoted over 1000 man hours to the creation of this tally one of a kind Altezza.
