Should farm forestry be required to have to set-asides under FSC?

One thing that farm foresters and forest conservation greenies have in common is we are all a bunch of tree, forest and wood crazies. Most of us have been planting trees since we could hold a spade and will do till we cannot. I have been mucking about with trees since I can remember, including helping my father plant up the difficult corners of the dairy farm when I was about 10, and growing radiata as Christmas trees as a fundraiser for scouts. These days, like other farm foresters, I am trying toclothe 13 hectares of eroding farmland with a range of eucalypts, cypresses, acacias and other alternatives, as well as restoring a third to native bush.
