Global life-sciences group grows in Scotland

To support its worldwide research and development activities, multinational life-sciences group Schering-Plough is to invest 30 million dollars in early drug discovery technologies in Scotland. Schering-Plough is spending 60 million US dollars across three of its global locations, in Scotland, the United States and the Netherlands. Half of the R&D funding is to be spent at its Newhouse facility in Scotland.
