In the process of deformation of metals, parallel with changes in the sizes and shapes of the grains, we observe the rotation of the crystallographic axes in the three-dimensional space and their orientation in the same direction This leads to the formation of a texture whose influence on the chemical activity of the metal is significant in view the nonidentical configurations of the bonds of the surface atoms on different crystallographic faces [1]. As a result, the rates of anodic dissolution of these faces in aqueous solutions are different. At present, this process is most often modeled by using the cluster description of the metal surface and numerical methods of quantum chemistry [2].
