We study the process of development of plastic deformation in the vicinity of the tips of a biperiodic system of rhombic notches made in an elastic perfectly plastic body subjected to longitudinal shear. determine the shape of the plastic zones, and analyze the influence of the distances between the centers of the notches and the angles made by the notches at their tips on the shape of the plastic zone.
