摘要

The necessity of application of high-molecular compounds as additives to lubricant-coolant working media is substantiated. We show that atomic hydrogen substantially reduces the power and force losses in the cutting process. It is also established that, in the process of turning, as in the case pyrolysis, we observe the intense destruction of macrochains of the polymer accompanied by the formation of hydrocarbons. In the zone of machining, we record deep physicochemical transformations of polymeric chains with the formation of various active products that are, most likely, responsible for the manifestation of the effect of improvement of the workability of steel.
