'Freedom' and 'a hell of a lot' at Nucor

I read with interest the interview of George Becker, USWA president, in the May 1996 issue. Let me preface my comments by stating that the views expressed here are my personal views and opinions, and that I am in no way speaking for Nucor, its employees, or anyone else. These comments are strictly my own. Becker is quoted in your article as stating that anybody who believes for one second that those of us at the minimills are a bunch of happy campers is out of his mind. He further insinuates that any Nucor worker who says he's not would be fired in five seconds.
