INFLUENCE OF THE SHAPE OF GRAPHITE INCLUSIONS ON THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF IRON-CARBON ALLOYS

摘要

On the basis of a mathematical model of alloys containing graphite inclusions, we obtain analytic relations for the prediction of mechanical properties of the material (ultimate strength σ_u and static crack resistance K_(IC)) depending on the shape and volume content of these inclusions.
