We have established that the cold rolling of alloys of the Ti-Al system with aluminum content of 2 to 4% leads to the development of a texture with deviation of base poles in the direction of rolling, which is characteristic of "zinc-type" textures in sheets, whereas, under -80% deformation of alloys with aluminum content of ~2%, it is accompanied by a component with deviation of the poles [0001] in the transverse direction, which is typical of "titanium-type" textures. A Ti-4% Al alloy rolled up to 80% deformation possesses the central base texture. According to the textural changes, in sheets of titanium alloys with different aluminum contents, with increase in the degree of deformation by rolling, the contribution of the function of anisotropy with periodicity [0-π/2] to the anisotropy of elastic properties increases, which is manifested as a shift of the maxima of Young's modulus in the direction of smaller angles from the direction of rolling in sheets of Ti-3Al-1.5V and PT3-V commercial alloys.
