摘要

We study structural damping in a typical structural element of unidirectionally reinforced composites with insufficient adhesion on the interfaces. It is shown that the defects of gluing near the breaks of fi bers increase damping and, in order to enhance the damping of composites reinforced with short fibers, it is necessary to remove friction in the central parts of the fibers.
