摘要

Similarity transformations are constructed andused to obtain an exact solution of the axially symmetricboundary-value problem of static thermoelasticity for a halfspace whose free surface is heated by a continuous point heatsource. It is shown that this solution agrees with the solutionobtained earlier by the method of thermoelastic potentials.
