A cluster has been formed to bring together European Commission funded projects addressing the area of Smart Fabrics and Interactive Textile (SFIT) and flexible wearable systems. The objectives are to: assure coherence of the work within specific programmes and its relevance in worldwide developments; improve the performance of individual projects by maximising interaction with other projects and stakeholders; build critical mass of activities, with clear visibility and societal impact.
