摘要

A half diallel set involving nine divergent presents was prepared to raise F_1 and F_2 generations. Parents along with FI, 's and 's were grown in R.B.D. during spring 1992 with 3 replications to study the genetics of earliness, yield, radial fruit cracking and shelf life in tomato. Genetic components and graphical analysis revealed preponderance of non-additive type of gene effect for earliness, yield per plant, radial fruit cracking and shelf life of fruits. Heritability in narrow sense 45.39% forearliness, 1.77 for yield per plant, 11.04% for radial fruit cracking and 24.84% for shelf life of tomato fruits.
