Robustness evaluation case study: System media

摘要

The definition of the structured singular value may be an effective tool for evaluation of robustness of computer control systems. The paper presents a case study of the system Media enabling complex service for the Working Media Engineer in a big manufacturing plant and, at the same time, being a reasonable first step towards computer integrated manufacturing and management systems. The robustness measure is compared for the star and common-medium architectures of the PLC's arrangement.
