Desmoplastic ganglioglioma with meningiomatous and myofibroblastic components presenting with epilepsy.

Mixed tumours composed of neuroectodermal and non-neruoectodermal elements are rare in the brain. They may arise as metastases into a pre-existing tumour or as glial and meningothelial collision tumours. We present an unusual mixed neuroepithelial, meningothelial and mes-enchymal low-grade neoplasm presenting with epilepsy. An 18 year-old male presented with six years history of frequent epileptic seizures. Imaging showed a calcified frontal lobe mass, diagnosed as low-grade neoplasm suggestive of dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumour. Surgical resection followed.
