Synthesis of new paramagnetic retinal analogues

摘要

We synthesized new paramagnetic retinal analogues using Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons and Wittig reactions. In these new analogues, the pyrroline nitroxide moiety is situated in the place of the P-ionone ring or at the end of the polyene chain.
