Stereoselective total synthesis of verbalactone

摘要

A simple and efficient route for the stereoselective total synthesis of verbalactone from commercially available inexpensive starting material d-mannitol using Barbier allylation, alpha-aminoxylation, and Yamaguchi macrolactonization as key steps is reported.
