Magnum Hunter Reports Gains In Marcellus, Utica, Brighter 2014

Magnum Hunter Resources provided an update of its progress in the Marcellus and Utica Shales in Ohio and West Virginia, where the company continues to scale up development of its upstream and midstream operations. The Houston-based independent continues to grow its position in the region and now holds about 83,000 net acres prospective for the Marcellus Shale and about 97,000 net acres located above the Utica Shale, with roughly 38,000 of those acres overlapping.
