Qatargas Train 7 Beginning Operations

Royal Dutch Shell reports that commercial operations at Qatargas train 7 train have commenced and the first LNG cargoes should be loaded within weeks. Shell owns 30% of the 7.8 million ton per year train, enough capacity to liquefy more than 1 billion cubic feet per day of gas. State-owned Qatar Petroleum holds 70%.
