Shell, PetroChina Propose Joint Buyout of Australian Rival Arrow

Royal Dutch Shell and PetroChina's joint bid for Australia's Arrow Energy will, if completed, shake up the Queensland coalbed methane sector, probably removing what is currently the most advanced, but smallest, of the CBM-based LNG projects and pushing Shell's stand-alone project up the queue of LNG export ventures on Australia's northeastern coast.
