Pioneer Natural Seeks Partner in Eagle Ford to Expand Production

Pioneer Natural Resources is seeking a joint venture partner to accelerate development of its significant acreage position in the liquids-rich Eagle Ford Shale play of south Texas. By taking on a joint venture partner, Pioneer hopes to accelerate drilling, preserve acreage and gain access to "several billion" in needed investment dollars, Chief Operating Officer Timothy "Tim" Dove told the Pritchard Capital Energize Conference Thursday.
