Company Joins Deep Shelf Drilling Study

A study of deep shelf natural gas plays in Louisiana is under way and the consortium supporting the research has a new member — Saratoga Resources. The research project is being led by scientists from the Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG) at the University of Texas at Austin. This phase of the research will focus on Louisiana and is investigating the architecture of deep Tertiary reservoirs on the Louisiana shelf.
