It has been a fairly uneventful summer for US LNG imports, thanks to an extremely robust European gas price and strong demand in the Asian LNG market. Currently, there is around a $3 differential between the UK National Balancing Point and Henry Hub, giving LNG traders all the incentive needed to take their spot cargoes to the other side of the pond.
