Report: Water Issues to Become Acute for E&P Industry in Future

Water is an important commodity for the energy industry,especially the exploration and production segment,and is usually not considered rare or scarce when companies plan their drilling strategies.But,that may be changing faster than anyone in the energy industry had anticipated,according to a new report released by the Cambridge Energy Research Associates and the World Economic Forum.The report,Thirsty Energy: Water and Energy in the 21st Century,warns that"energy's share of water is likely to be squeezed in the future in many parts of the world."
